Moon hill, China

Moon hill is a hill with a natural arch through it, it is located a few kilometers from Yangshuo in Guangxi, autonomous region of southern China. It is so named for a large semi-circular hole through the hill, all that remains of what was once a limestone cave formed in the phreatic zone.

In addition to a scenic route through the arch, and a steep path leading to the summit above the arch, Moon Hill has several climbing routes, the first of which was climbed by Todd Skinner in the 1990s. It has also been used for rappelling in several adventure races. Moon Hill, offers a panoramic view of the surrounding countryside, which is characterized by the karst hills present throughout the area.

El Capitan, USA

In the north of the mythical Yosemite National Park, the largest granite monolith in the world rises 1000 meters above the valley. A pure vertical climb with almost no interruption, the so-called "El Cap" has two main faces and offers routes of varying difficulty; among them, "The Nose" which is without doubt the most famous of the great routes in the world.

It is an absolute dream for many climbers, where the best climbers fight to beat the fastest ascent. Last record to date: 1h 58minutes and 7 seconds for these 1000 meters by Alex Honnold and Tommy Caldwell in 2018.

Krabi, Thailand

For more than twenty years, climbers have discovered some of the world's most beautiful climbing walls in southern Thailand. A turquoise sea, peaks of more than a hundred meters covered with jungle and white sandy beaches where caves have been dug for millions of years by the lapping of the waves and tides.

The region also offers thrills accessible only by boat with the deep water solo, also called Psicoblog, which consists of climbing above the sea without any other security than the water below.

Climbing in Thailand is a real pleasure and the effort of the beginner or the experienced climber who will tackle the routes of all levels, which have been opened by passionate Thai people, will be rewarded.

Wadi Rum, Jordan 

Journey to the land of the Bedouin.... Wadi Rum is a desert located in southern Jordan near the port of Aqaba on the Red Sea. The sandstone walls are sculpted by water and wind, resulting in an abrasive and sticky rock.

The walls are sometimes real cobblestones, with tortuous scales and shapes, overlooking the surrounding desert. Climbing in these places requires some experience and is not recommended for beginners. Climbing on these lands takes on a real adventure dimension.  
 

Mount Roraima, Venezuela

Mount Roraima is the highest peak in the Parakaima mountain range in South America and one of the most incredible and ancient geological formations in the world.  The summit of Mount Roraima covers 31 square kilometers and its cliffs rise 400 meters high around its entire circumference. including borders between Brazil, Venezuela and Guyana. 

Climbed in 2013 for an expedition led by Stefan Glowacz and Holger Heuger, this is one of the most difficult climbs in the world, these walls are not for everyone.
